Irene Stern Frielich

As the Owner and President of EnVision Performance Solutions, Irene Stern Frielich’s expertise includes every aspect of the learning and development field. A creative problem solver, Irene has provided clients with customized solutions for over 15 years.

Irene’s breadth of experience includes managing training projects, designing curriculum and instructional materials for both learners and instructors, and delivering live and virtual training classes. Irene and her team have developed instructor-led and elearning courses on a wide array of topics including presentation and facilitation skills, train-the-trainer, performance and talent management, finance basics, operations, compliance, and computer applications.

Clients have described Irene as “a fabulous instructor.” EnVision has been repeatedly recognized for thorough project management, conceptual focus and analytical capabilities, earning “best in class” on project evaluations. In 2011, Irene and her team were awarded first place in the Corporate Developer category of eLearning Guild’s LINGOs Global Giveback Competition.

Since 1998, Irene has applied her extensive experience in project management and instructional design to help dozens of EnVision clients including American Red Cross, Boston Private Bank, Boston Scientific, Comcast, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Covidien, DelValle Institute, Fleet Bank, Genzyme, Gillette, Massachusetts General Hospital, Management Sciences for Health, Medtronic, NSTAR, Staples, State Street, Stop & Shop and Takeda. Prior to founding EnVision, Irene developed and delivered training courses for employees in the banking sector.

Irene is MBTI-qualified and continues her professional development by attending seminars and as a member of Association for Talent Development (ATD, formerly ASTD), International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), The Boston Club, and Human Resources Leadership Forum (HRLF). She holds an MBA from Babson College and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Brandeis University,

Irene is a snowshoeing, kayaking, and cycling enthusiast, which keeps her happy throughout the year.
