Laura Carty is an accomplished instructional designer and project manager with over twenty years of experience in the learning and development field. With every project, Laura likes to put herself in the shoes of the learner and figure out how to develop the most relevant and engaging learning while achieving the client’s objectives. She also enjoys working within a variety of industries to continuously build her knowledge and skills.
Laura has produced a wide spectrum of training materials including elearning, classroom learning, procedural documentation, video, and performance support tools. She is credited with her ability to develop creative learning solutions to meet both technical and non-technical business needs and to work efficiently to meet aggressive timelines.
Laura earned her Master’s degree in Training and Development from Lesley University and her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts.
For fun, Laura enjoys playing volleyball and acting in local community theater.
